Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the cost engineering and cost analysis/control activities for projects with significant non-routine requirements which require a high degree of technical skill. You will prepare monthly cost deliverables and collaborate with other disciplines to ensure alignment and timeliness of cost-related inputs. Your detailed analysis will provide innovative solutions to cost engineering challenges. #LI-SM2
Major Responsibilities:
- Supports the implementation of cost monitoring and control standards, techniques, systems, and reports.
- Assists in developing and assigning specific project cost accounts and recommends appropriate modifications and revisions.
- Prepares and coordinates the support for monthly invoices, reconciles the monthly project billings and their coding.
- Coordinates the development and accuracy of PSERV, CoCo, QURR etc.
- Verifies consistency with previous reports to ensure compatibility and consistency.
- Performs performance monitoring and control functions for specific applications, including the consistent use of applicable procedures
- Prepares specific budgets and assist with their allocation in accordance with prescribed standards and procedures.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing, and solving problems driven by data.
- Strong knowledge of Bechtel's financial reporting systems (CFAR), controller account codes, cost management system (EcoSys), and the digital supply chain system (DSCS).
- Must have excellent communications and presentation skills to combine sound analytical cost engineering principles with the ability to summarize, reach appropriate conclusions, and implement cost containment plans.
- Demonstrated flexibility to respond to urgent project requests and/or changing priorities.
- Preferred experience in Data Centers and/or Semiconductors industries.
