Summary:
- Maintain a strong field presence, spending the majority of time on-site supporting daily safety operations.
- Conduct routine site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA and project safety standards.
- Identify hazards, assess risk, and implement corrective actions in real time.
- Partner with project teams, superintendents, and subcontractors to promote a proactive safety culture.
- Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and pre-task planning discussions.
- Monitor multiple trades to ensure safe work practices are consistently followed.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; assist with documentation and corrective actions.
- Reinforce positive safety behaviors through coaching and consistent field engagement.
Requirements:
- OSHA 510 Preferred or additional experience.
- Local to the project preferred, there is per diem available if not local.
- 5 to 7 years of construction safety management experience.
- Ability to start this project ASAP.
- Must have excellent writing and computer skills.
- Great communication - written & verbally.
