About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Construction Safety Associate to lead project safety and serve as a key representative to the owner, contractors, and project stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with a proven construction safety track record.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily site safety and health activities, inspections, and hazard assessments.
- Conduct safety meetings and maintain agendas, minutes, action items, and attendance records.
- Document inspection findings and track corrective actions through closeout.
- Assist with incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and required reporting.
- Develop and implement site-specific safety plans, policies, JSAs/JHAs, and procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of applicable OSHA construction/general industry requirements.
- Provide ongoing safety training, coaching, and compliance guidance to site personnel.
- Work closely with the owner, contractors, subcontractors, and project leadership to drive a strong safety culture.
Requirements:
Candidates must meet one of the following:
- CSP, CIH, ASP, ARM, CHST, OHST, or a similar credential + 3 years construction safety experience.
- 5+ years of relevant construction safety experience.
